Thank you for joining us at our Annual Sew-A-Thon!
Social Manufacturing is an initiative that empowers small-scale, community-based, democratic production; creating more education and effort around the equitable production of goods being made closer to the place of consumption. Through this effort, we hope to unite the stitching community of Cleveland into a broader collaborative, while giving back to the community we all love!
This year we made reusable tote bags for St. Vincent Charity’s Mission Kitchen and Pantry program, a wonderful resource that serves the Central neighborhood. As a part of their commitment to sustainability and regenerative practices, they laundered and dry cleaned the drapery material that once hung in the hospital. It is an honor to transform those materials that served the community and give them back to the community.
Made possible through the generous support by:
Sowing the seeds of hope.
Sewing the social fabric of community.
